Zina Jamil is an ARB-registered Architect and Designer. Working across disciplines, her practice draws on her upbringing in Damascus, where stories are held within objects, places and rituals.

Her work explores traditions, material culture and the quiet beauty found in the details, nurturing the performances/poetry of everyday life within space.

Working across architecture, interiors and creative direction, she approaches each discipline as part of the same design process. A doorway, a chair, a brass handle or a table set for dinner all belong to the same conversation.

Zina completed her Diploma and Professional Practice at the Architectural Association School of Architecture, following her studies at Central Saint Martins.

She has led the design and delivery of architecture and interior projects in London, specialising in the refurbishment of heritage buildings.

Today, her work continues between London and Damascus.
